Bio
Afif is in the ICT industry for over 20 years, with a focus on Knowledge Management. Previously worked for Microsoft in the internal communications area where he was responsible for managing communications programs for the sales force.
He also held positions as an executive in various companies, in ICT and Medical industries, traveled the world...
in 2006 he moved to Africa and co-started Potential Africa, a social entrepreneur company that works with NGOs and SMEs in Africa to work more efficiently by utilising appropriate ICTs. With the founding sponsorship from Microsoft Potential Africa helped establish NGOConnect Africa. He is a board member within NGOConnect Africa as well.
Afif despises interventionist methods imposed on developing countries, and instead believes in facilitating them to find/develop/share their own solutions.
