The aim of NGOConnect Africa is to help make the work done by non-profit organisations and their partners easier and more effective through the better use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) The first step in this process is to welcome NGOs and those who support theme into a dedicated, active, online working environment – the NGOConnect Africa platform. By bringing these people and organisations together, lessons will be learned, knowledge will be exchanged, and relationships developed crossing all boundaries. From there, NGOConnect Africa and its members will work together to encourages and fosters the projects and solutions with greater sustainability and impact.
This site provides a social workspace where NGOs and the people or organisations that support them can meet, discuss ideas and challenges, join communities and share valuable resources to achieve their respective goals. It is an area where African solutions are offered for African problems; a space where our diverse perspectives directs understanding, innovation and ingenuity. A place where collaboration is encouraged beyond all borders.
Beyond the NGOConnect Africa platform, we also have numerous 'offline' resources and projects that support NGOs at various levels; training, educational programmes and workshops, special offers for NGOs, facilitation of public-private partnerships, and many more. These resources will continue to grow with your input and participation – so come explore and add your knowledge and expertise to this growing collection.
Everyone is welcome! Making your projects more successful often requires resources from multiple sources. NGOConnect Africa is a place where everyone can come to learn, participate, and work together for greater impact. We welcome participation from all organisations as we believe everyone can contribute, whether you're an NGO, Technical Service Provider (TSP), Academia, Researcher, Government Department, Donor, Sponsor, Funder, potential Affiliate Organisation or Volunteer.
